Paul is president of the COMMUNIA Association for the Public Domain. He works on more open approaches to copyright and digital policies, helping to open up data and collections. He’s also the co-founder of Open Future, a new think tank for the open movement to be more impactful and become a strong public interest voice in debates about digital policy. Paul can also shape-shift between being a systems architect, a lobbyist, an activist, or a cyclist.
What can be done?
We need to burst the targeted advertising bubble that provides the economic basis for the dominance of mega platforms.
